This next piece captures both a "first day entry" and the theme for our five days here. The still-life is made up of a lobster in a Maine logo emblazoned-beer glass, a rubber duck and six dice.

FIRST DAY ENTRY: MJ just had to try the Lobster Ale on the menu. We enjoyed lunch with friend and author, Cynthia Lord (and her daughter). Cindy's first novel has a rubber duck on the cover. And when we settled in that night, MJ and I played 10K dice.

FIVE DAY THEME: We ate MUCH lobster! We enjoyed Maine-brewed beers. MJ kicked my butt in the nightly 10K dice game marathon. And we were like that rubber duck bouncing around from place-to-place always smiling and always enjoying ourselves!
