I am *SO* Johnny! I just don't read! Maybe I have reading problems... I've certainly got
lousy eyesight and I just CAN'T read at night as I find myself re-reading the same sentence
over and over like some TWILIGHT ZONE episode!
But I think the answer is as easy as it's illustrated here! I can't READ cuz I'm too
busy DRAWING!!! You just can't do BOTH at the same time! And I just seem to have
so much "TO-DO" that when the time comes availible and I gotta chose -- I pick:
DRAW!
I did manage to "DO BOTH" on this vacation, though. I brought two books along.
I finished one and got pretty deeply into the other.... But MORE on those books
to come in future entries to my Maine Diary 2004!
WHY Johnny and slatts can't read, WHAT you prefer: READ or DRAW and
WHAT you're reading or drawing now (besides (reading) slatts the "this-is-a" RIOT Act and (drawing) conclusions that slatts "has lost it all" --including your return visit to any more entries!!!.....

ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATION
As with almost ALL the Maine Diary 2004 sketch/illos, this was done with a NESTLER Techliner 02.
And the paper is 20# Bond paper -- laser printer paper. And the Photoshop work here is
my FAV technique of coloring the line art, flat color in the background --it's fast and easy! and it WORKS! Agree?....
