TITLE:Apple of My Eye MEDIUM: colored pencil SIZE: 5" x 8"
It's my guess that in 1999 or 2000, I drew an ink line caricature of Stevie Wonder and that somewhere around 2003 or 2004, I traced or scanned the image to create this colored pencil original. I don't think I had a blog at that time, that's why this drawing's history is so poorly documented. It's sad--that part, at least--I've always liked this illustration, for it's one of the earliest images to combine line illustration with actual photographs (the apples). I just don't know how early. But it pleases me now, that it is owned by such a Stevie Wonder fan.
